SIDE OF THE TIDE BORDER MORRIS

Morris Group Memprial Day 2021Side of the Tide is the South Coast Folk Society’s Morris dancing troupe (also called a “side”).  New dancers are welcome.  We dance for parades, special events, to entertain groups, and just for the sheer joy of dancing.

Side of the Tide Morris dancers have been entertaining communities throughout the Pacific Northwest since the summer of 2015.  Our joyous, high energy dances have thrilled audiences in Seattle at Folklife, and at numerous festivals in Oregon and Washington.  We specialize in the Border Morris style, note the staves, bells and tatters.
